Solution Architect Senior Manager

LOCATIONS:

Solution Architect Senior Manager (Accenture LLP; Atlanta, GA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Solution Architect Senior Manager in Atlanta, GA to assist the Business Development team by providing solutions guidance and design/strategy support through the sales process. S/he will perform the following duties: collaborate and define elements of the solution to accurately estimate the cost, effort, timeline, and likelihood of success in delivering the project; gain Workday product knowledge with deep Workday implementation expertise across the following Workday domains: Financials, HCM, Payroll, Data, and Integrations, Adaptive Insights, Prism, and Workday Cloud Platform; revise Workday Estimator on quarterly basis to incorporate new enhancements; develop Workday estimators for new Workday modules; develop solution estimating guidelines and leverage them to train other Workday Solution Architects; create resource staffing plans for each opportunity solutioned and submit to appropriate Talent Fulfillment Specialist; review Solution Plans with Accenture Client Account teams and Sales Teams and revise based upon provided feedback; schedule and conduct Quality Assurance Reviews on all Solution Plans; obtain leading practices from Solution Architects within Accenture (outside of the Workday practice); and incorporate estimating guidance from Accenture Finance into all Workday solutions.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires at least a bachelor’s degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or in a closely related field, plus 7 years of progressively responsible post-baccalaureate experience as an Application Development Associate Manager/Team Lead, Systems Engineer or in related IT positions, including the following professional experience: 4 years of experience designing and configuring Workday functional and technical components in support of a Workday software implementation; 5 years of experience architecting best-fit Workday software solutions based on clients’ strategic objectives; 4 years of experience implementing cloud-based HR technologies and conducting vendor assessments across these technologies to help clients select HR technology platform; 4 years of experience developing strategies to drive client’s adoption of Workday and related technology initiatives; 7 years of experience performing sales support including leading customer meetings, proposal development, solution development, and transition to the implementation team; and 7 years of experience identifying, mitigating, and documenting technical solution risks, capturing technical solution costs, and creating solution documentation for clients.

Positions are based in Atlanta, GA but requires domestic travel up to 20% of an average work week. Telecommuting is permitted.
