DevOps Linux Specialist

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • You will provide system administration for Linux system environments either on-prem or on public cloud. You will analyze data/systems to find areas of improvement and implement them as Infrastructure as Code where feasible.

  • Brainstorm for new ideas and ways to improve development deliveries, architecture improvement and process improvement recommendations

  • Build, test and implement workflows using industry automation tools such as, AWX/Ansible or Ansible Tower/Ansible, Terraform etc

  • Skills in containerization technologies sick as Docker, Kubernetees and Openshift

  • Build playbooks and plays

  • Evaluate new technology options and vendor products

  • Implement, analyze and assess the impact of changes on maintained client environment.

  • Ensure critical system security, best practice and procedures are followed


WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU:

  • Very good English (written and spoken)

  • At least a year in DevOps operations, including automation experience with the above-mentioned tools.

  • More than two years of hands-on experience in Linux administration.

  • Understanding / hands-on experience in working with Public Cloud (e.g. AWS and/or Azure, Google) would be a strong advantage

  • Scripting skills in common Linux shells and tools.

  • A holistic understanding of both the operational and scope aspect of projects.
