What will you do:
Deploy services within Public- and Hybrid- clouds environments for enterprise customers.
Develop Infrastructure-as-a-Code (IaaC) templates.
Migrate workloads onto Public Clouds.
Design and implement technical solutions in areas of: Containerization, Automation, Security.
What do we expect from you:
We are looking for a seasoned public cloud implementation engineer, with a special focus on Google Cloud Platform. You need to have hands-on implementation experience in GCP that equals Associate Cloud Engineer curriculum (a GCP certificate will be an advantage, but is not a must):
Setting up cloud projects and (services) accounts (creating projects, users and roles management, Stack driver workspace).
Configuring (cloud-native) networking (Integration with on-premises / multi-cloud environments, VPC, peering, firewalls, container networking).
Deploying and administrating Compute Engine and Google Kubernetes Engine resources.
Deploying cloud-native databases.
Understanding and deploying security guardrails for cloud, infrastructure and applications.
Understanding financial impact of deploying public cloud resources.
Troubleshooting.
If you feel confident in at least 3 of the following areas below, we are waiting for your application:
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates and tools, using machine-readable definition files (like Terraform, Deployment Manager, Ansible, Chef).
Hands-on experience with Containers on at least one from the leading orchestration platforms: Kubernetes, GKE, OpenShift, Anthos.
Understanding of DevOps culture, practices and tools (e.g. Jenkins, Azure DevOps, Git, GitLab, GitHub, Pipelines).
Basic knowledge of common Operating Systems (Linux distributions, Windows) and virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware, RHV / KVM, Oracle VM, Hyper-V).
Experience in developing simple scripts and applications with Bash or PowerShell or Python.
Understanding of IT security: infrastructure, incl. cloud, network, application.
Upper intermediate English – is a must.
