  • Key Responsibilities : Should have expertise in 3NF data modelling as well as dimensional modelling Very good hands-on working experience in various Teradata Utilities like Fast Load, Multi Load, BTEQ, TPT, TPUMP, etc Working knowledge on and ETL tool preferably SSIS Understand business requirements and translate them into conceptual and Physical design Data mapping, Star Schema, Snow Flake Schema and preparation of document from model Good understanding of Data Warehousing and dimensional modelling concepts
    
  • Technical Experience : Very good knowledge of Advanced Teradata concepts like Skewness, Join strategy, Index choice, Statistics, Performance Optimization, Compression, etc Very good working experience on Erwin Case-tool modelling Good understanding of Banking / Financial industry experience of 5 years or more Good knowledge on other RDBMS and understanding of architectural difference of Teradata Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to articulate and document processes and workflows for use
