  • Key Responsibilities : A: A Backup Administrator is expected to take the initiative on issues and probe deeper into problems to fix root causes to proactively prevent recurrence B: Advises on best practices to ensure that customers backup solutions can work in a reliable, efficient and supportable way C: Consistent regular interaction with both internal and external customers as well as account managers and management D: Troubleshooting of backup and restore failures on multiple platforms with varied configurations
    
  • Technical Experience : a: IBM TSM administration b: Veritas Netbackup Administration c: SAN/NAS management d: Cloud infrastructure management e: Microsoft Excel, PPT, Word, etc
    
  • Professional Attributes : a: Fluent in English, in both oral and written communication b: Individual must demonstrate a high level of business acumen; ability to get along well with diverse personalities c: Able to work in 247 shifts including Evening/night shifts as well as On-call support
