ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a DevOps Engineer, you will :

• Implement DevOps solutions for Accenture clients in on-premises, hybrid and cloud environments
• Engineer and/or assist in the development of end-to-end DevOps environments (including code repository management, code merge and quality checks, continuous integration, automated deployment and management, operational monitoring)
• Work closely with the Development and Engineering teams, helping them to adopt and implement DevOps principles and practices to speed-up the delivery of change
• Help our clients realise the business benefits of DevOps and Agile delivery, supported by associated culture change through enhanced ways of working
• Support organisations in adopting DevOps practices and promote the use of DevOps throughout their organisation
• Support automation of operations and processes

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

In our team we are seeking Cloud DevOps Engineers with the following experience:

• Experience with cloud provider platforms, such as Amazon Web Services, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
• Hands on experience with CI/CD through pipeline creation, and automated deployment and management using AWS, Jenkins/GoCD, Git, Maven, Ant, SonarQube, Packer or comparable tools.
• Hands-on experience with Orchestration tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Azure DevOps, AWS DevOps or equivalent
• Experience with implementing Centralized Logging and Monitoring – EFK, Splunk, Azure Log Analytics, Azure Application Insights, AWSCloudWatch, AWSCloudTrail
• Proficiency in a scripting language, such as Python
• Understanding of cloud native architectures, patterns, application deployments and operations
• Understanding and experience working in an Agile delivery environment
• Up-to-date knowledge of DevOps patterns and trends, with a strong awareness of all the latest available products
• Familiarity with Containers and Containerisation platforms e.g., Docker, Kubernetes
• Bachelors’ degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience

• Industry-relevant Cloud certification
• Experience with multi-environment management (across on-premises and cloud)
• Experience in defining and leading the roadmap for establishment of DevOps capabilities
• Experience in building automation tools, server-side RESTful applications and APIs
• Strong experience with Kubernetes or Docker containers
