Site Reliability Engineer

LOCATIONS:

The Sr Engineer/Engineer has end to end ownership for design, build, test, deploy, and operation of agile & cost-effective solutions leveraging Cloud technologies, specifically Microsoft Azure. This role requires collaboration with other team members to develop automation strategies and deployment processes. This role will be an integral part of the Implementation Services Team, whose focus is to help Accenture’s customers with their Digital Transformation journeys.

For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Public Cloud Services with emphasis on Microsoft Azure

  • Strong knowledge of the three-tier enterprise architecture

  • Experience operating Azure App Service PaaS offering

  • Experience with Azure Networking: VNets, ExpressRoute, Load Balancing Patterns and Solutions in Azure

  • Experience in Webserver management: primarily IIS8.5, IIS10 and other webserver knowledge Apache, Nginx would be a plus

  • Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019 management experience

  • Experience with at least one of the scripting languages listed: Power Shell, JavaScript, Python, UNIX shell scripting

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)   

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of C#

  • Experience with Automation platforms such as Terraform, Ansible, VRealize Orchestrator, SCORCH, or Azure Automation

  • Experience operating in development platforms such as Microsoft Team Foundation Services/Azure DevOps.

  • Experience Implementing DevOps pipelines for Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery.

  • API Management experience

  • Redis or Azure Cache for Redis

  • Akamai WAF Kona and/or WAF offerings in Azure

  • Bot Management (Distil)

  • Change Management and Incident Management experience
