  • Key Responsibilities : A: Provision database instances, both in clustered and non-clustered configurations B: Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases C: Managing the database storage structures D: Prepare documentations and specifications E: Proactively monitoring the databases health and taking preventive or corrective action as required F: Handle common database procedures, such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc G: Profile server resource usage, optimize and tweak as necessary
    
  • Technical Experience : 1 6 plus years experience app dev exp with exp in back end installing and troubleshooting 2 MS SQL/Postgre exp/Oracle - Development, configuration and deployment 3 Experience in data migration using AWS services like DMS, Schema conversion tool 4 Troubleshooting and debugging for technical issues during migration
    
  • Professional Attributes : A: Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization B: Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision
