Data Engineer Specialist

Building on top of the data layer, the team is responsible for delivering a rationalized set of core services. We are starting with foundational elements such as Identity, Profile, Segmentation, and edge components for real-time data capture and decisioning, and lay the foundation for higher-level services required for our Experience Business vision. We will run and maintain high traffic, high visibility applications with immense amounts of data and solve challenging scaling problems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop tools to source, ingest, validate, visualize and process large quantities of data
- Work closely with product managers, data scientists, partners (ML teams working on both visual and NLP models) and engineering teams to capture and define data requirements, and build the vital tooling required to ensure timely delivery of high-quality data
- Work in a multifaceted, fast-paced, creative, collaborative and data driven environment
- Partner with teams to integrate these technologies across all of Document Cloud and Adobe
Requirements:
Experience with Python, Pandas, NumPy and SQL, JSON, API
Some experience with Apache Spark, Airflow
Some experience with Apache Kafka, Kinesis
GIT, CICD
Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, D3 or other visualization framework
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Be conversant in Data Science and able to connect with and take mentorship from Data Scientists on the team
Track record as a self-starter
Familiarity with AWS/Azure, R and Ubuntu is nice to have
Graphic design, page layout or PDF technologies experience is nice to have
BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields
