• Project Role Description :Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance.

  • Key Responsibilities : A-Install and maintain the performance of database servers B-Develop processes for optimizing database security C-Set and maintain database standards D-Manage database access E-Performance tuning of database systems F-Install, upgrade, and manage database applications G-Diagnose and troubleshoot database errors H-Recommend and implement emerging database technologies
    
  • Technical Experience : A-Strong command of SQL and SQL server tools B-Advanced knowledge of database security, backup and recovery, and performance monitoring standards C-Understanding of relational and dimensional data modeling D-PowerShell and Unix shell scripting skills E-Familiarity with SSAS, SSIS, SSRS
    
  • Professional Attributes : A-Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge B-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
