  • Key Responsibilities : Responsible for schema design and performance of SQL Coding Responsible for development of SQL standards Ensures adherence to standards Fix any defects identified with poor performing queries Carry out ad hoc or routine tasks that are required to keep the application running To implement changes or releases to applications,databases that are agreed with the customer Support, and possibly participate, in any upgrade projects
    
  • Technical Experience : Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databases eg SQL Server Oracle Experience with modern relational databases Skilled at optimising and recommendations on large complicated SQL statements Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases Good working knowledge of tools available to troubleshoot common database issues Experience in incident, change management and transition processes Experience in secure software design and software security bes
