Project Role : Database AdministratorProject Role Description : Administer, develop, test, or demonstrate databases. Perform many related database functions across one or more teams or clients, including designing, implementing and maintaining new databases, backup/recovery and configuration management. Install database management systems (DBMS) and provide input for modification of procedures and documentation used for problem resolution and day-to-day maintenance. • Key Responsibilities : A: Plan and implement low to medium risk changes on production system B: Analyze and assess the impact and risk of low to medium risk changes on production systems C: Resolve standard incidents affecting the operation/availability of systems: Monitor vendors release notes and plan necessary upgrades and patches as required E: Assist disaster recovery tests
  
• Technical Experience : A: Installation, Maintenance , Administration and Troubleshooting B: Unix scripting C: Experience in File systems, LVM D: Experience in Network File systems E:Experience in patch and package Administration F: Experience in start-up and shutdown of Operating Systems G:HP Blade Firmware and Hardware up gradation H:Basic knowledge of clustering I:Experience in Remote administration J:Experience in NIS, DNS and Send-mail configuration
