Description: You will be joining Accenture's global application security advisory services practice, working as part of the rapidly expanding Canadian team to help put the Sec in devsecops, with a focus on software security.
You will lead small teams to help Accenture clients develop their software security programs & strategy, build their devops pipelines, advise and then build infrastructure as code/policy as code, provide subject-matter-expertise around software security and the cloud, advise clients on the latest trends and tooling, build operational efficiency, scale their businesses, etc.


As a senior member of the team, you will assist in hiring, mentoring, and training team-mates with a goal towards building software security-focused cloud and devsecops expertise in yourself and the team. You will contribute to sales/proposals/RFP discussions to help solution and manage delivery of security and technology initiatives to internal and external clients.

Required qualifications and skills:
• Can read/write code in at least one programming/scripting language
• Experience in leading teams and managing projects
• 4+ years of experience in cloud security initiatives (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) or equivalent industry experience in related fields such as software engineering/programming, application security, security or infrastructure operations, site-reliability engineering, etc.
• 2+ years’ experience building devsecops practices/pipelines, and/or configuring, standing up & integrating tools.
• Familiar with basic risk management concepts (e.g. risk and vulnerability ratings, activities in a typical threat-risk assessment, impact/likelihood, etc)
• Understanding of basic application security vulnerabilities (e.g. OWASP Top 10)
• Basic understanding of agile/devops methods and concepts
• Understand basic networking concepts (e.g. DNS, LANs/WANs/VLANs, common protocols like HTTP(s), etc)
• Strong presentation, speaking, collaboration, and writing skills
• Curious, self-motivated, life-long learner, empathetic, collaborative, comfortable with uncertainty.
• Willing to obtain Canadian federal Reliability security clearance
Preferred skills:
• Bachelors’ degree in Computer science, CIS/MIS, engineering, information security, or related
• Container security, service mesh, kubernetes expertise
• Infrastructure-as-code, compliance as code framework expertise
• Industry recognized certification such as CISSP, CSSLP, CISM, etc
• Prior experience in consulting
• French language proficiency
