In our team you will learn:

·       How to provide security solutions to real world problems across our vast variety of FS clients, with a specific focus on strategy, risk & compliance and cloud technology

·       How to work with our wider Accenture business on large business driven, technology transformation programmes 

As a Financial Services Security Consultant, you will:

·       Support the delivery of Accenture's security offering, including security governance, strategy, risk assessments and management, data protection and identity & access management

·       Map security controls to compliance requirements to client need

·       Demonstrate ability to contribute content to business development / proposal efforts

·       Conduct security strategy assessments and be familiar with security frameworks, compliance requirements and security operations

·       Ability to quickly ramp up on new security technologies

·       Lead the definition and articulation of security principles and standards to be adopted 

·       Review our clients’ existing security measures and processes, advising on best practices and recommendations based on leading industry insights

·       Ensure the appropriate tooling, automation and operational processes and models are in place to support our clients’

We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Financial Services industry experience or background
  • Knowledge and experience of security standards, procedures, processes, operating models, reviews and automation,
  • Knowledge of the regulatory & risk landscape for the FS industry
  • Knowledge and experience of third-party landscape that can assist in providing robust security solutions,
  • Working with senior management (CISO, CIO, CTO, Architecture leads, Application teams, Cloud engineers, Ops and SecOps),
  • Shaping and designing top to bottom cloud solutions with a focus on all aspects of security (Network, Infrastructure, Access, Cloud Services, Controls, and SecOps),
  • Comfortable working with both waterfall and agile methodologies and exposure across the full delivery lifecycle,
  • Security certifications and understanding of current industry best practices.
  • Proven success in project management skills including working in technical project teams
  • Knowledge of cloud industry trends, including public, private & hybrid cloud platforms & technologies such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud Platforms

  • Ability to build, manage and foster a team that are specialised in the FS industry Have a keen interest in technology
  • Demonstrate ability to lead and manage business development / proposal efforts
  • Support business development activities such as sales origination, proposal writing, effort estimation, and client relationship development
  • Ability to interpret relevance of security controls to relevant compliance with legal, best-practice, and regulatory requirements for the FS industry
  • Ability to translate technical security requirements into business terms for C-level Executive stakeholders
  • Engage with Senior account stakeholders to identify requirements, drivers and context, to derive a gap and maturity assessment
  • Conduct security strategy, readiness and discovery assessments; be familiar with security frameworks, compliance requirements and security operations
