Security Account Lead – Energy, Utilities and Chemical industry

Your job
As a Security Account Lead (SAL) you will be responsible for overseeing security related activities at one of Accenture’s clients and act as the face of Accenture Security. You bring together both technical and business expertise to help the client solve their complex security challenges. You will use your skillset in working with delivery teams to ensure existing projects are operating as expected, as well as developing new opportunities at the client.

As the SAL you will be part of the Resources security group which works with leading clients in the Energy, Utilities and Chemical industry sectors. Clients in these sectors are focusing on big topics that change their business, such as: climate change, energy transition and increasing adoption of IT in the OT space. Accenture’s Resources security group brings industry knowledge specific to Security and helps clients implement and run fit-for-purpose security solutions.

You will also be part of the client account team and focus on ensuring security is an integral part in everything we do and finding ways to support the client secure their organization.

Your team

At Accenture Security, we lead the field working carefully with our clients to help them identify and address security challenges. We continuously learn about trends and threats in the Resources sector to best support our clients with security solutions that are most relevant in their line of business.
The impact of our work reaches throughout the whole security life cycle, and across value chains end to end, ultimately keeping businesses and end-users protected all over the world.
In practice, that might mean deploying cutting-edge security systems, using AI to analyze security risks, improving security for the client’s industrial control (OT) sites globally, or developing defense strategies based on a combination of technology and user behavior. You won't be limited to a single set of tools to offer security for our clients, so you will be able to take a proactive and creative approach to find the best solutions for every security problem.

Your background

• Preferably a Master related degree;

• 4-8 years of work experience in Security;

• Experience with clients in Resources sector: Energy, Utilities or Chemical industry;

• Project- or consultancy experience;

• Commercial experience is preferred;

• Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems;

• Fluency in English and Dutch is a must;
