Federal - Sales and Growth Strategy Specialist

You are:

Providing accounts with actionable insights and growth recommendations based on market analysis, competitive intelligence, and client research. You will support up to five client accounts. You should be able to work independently and collaboratively to bring innovative ideas to account strategy, marketing, and proposal responses. In this role, you will engage with senior leadership regularly to formulate new perspectives and support critical account initiatives.

The work:

Day to day work involves developing PowerPoint presentations for AFS and client leadership meetings, preparing sales responses and whitepapers, monitoring upcoming opportunities, and doing research about an agency s organizational structure, technology roadmap, and current challenges. To be successful in this role you will need high attention to detail, creativity, writing skills and storytelling ability, a passion for sales and business development, strong communication, collaboration skills, a growth mindset, and comfort with reaching out and networking across the company. InDesign Illustrator skills are a plus but not required. Articulate Accenture s value proposition across different capability areas cyber, cloud, digital platform, applied intelligence, management consulting, human capital, etc. and communicate this verbally, through writing, or visually. Identify opportunities that Accenture should pursue, develop a business case to justify pursuit, and share these with leadership. Perform research to develop and strengthen the business case for sales campaigns, including but not limited to identifying incumbents, dollar value of work, current organizational structures, subcontractors, small businesses currently performing work, and creative wedge sales opportunities. Run the pursuit of opportunities at the Request for Information RFI Stage identify SMEs within AFS LLP, assign authors to sections of the response, drive response time.


Here's what you need:

  • Excellent communication skills with strength and ability to articulate Accenture's value proposition relative to the marketplace around at least one of our offerings (cyber, digital platforms, applied intelligence, MC human capital, general MC services , cloud, etc.)

  • Skilled in one or more of the following: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Industry Analyst Research Gartner, Forrester, IDC, etc.
