The Role:| 
 

The Market Development Rep is an individual contributor role reporting directly to the Head of Market Development Acceleration. A successful candidate will play a critical role in expanding our partner solutions footprint with Accenture clients and converting prospects into qualified revenue opportunities. 

 

Individuals will be expected to develop a deep understanding of Accenture and Alliance capabilities, offering, and technologies to identify existing and potential opportunities and clients to generate qualified opportunity pipeline. They will work hand-in-hand with Ecosystem technology partnership teams running targeted campaigns. 
 
The ultimate goal is to bring everyone together (typically 3 parties) to agree that there’s a viable sales opportunity worth pursuing. Your job is making sure each party understands the unique value proposition, especially in terms of their business objectives.  

 

About You: 

 
You are the type of person who loves bringing people together to share in a great story. You can read your audience and understand where their interests lie. You love the art of communication, whether written, verbal or visual. You are self-motivated, detail oriented, and enjoy data-driven decision making.  


You need:

  • 3+ years technology sales and BDR experience focused on selling software, cloud or technology professional services to corporations.

  • 2+ years experience using Salesforce or other major CRM.

  • Bachelor's degree

Preferred:

  • History of sales quota/target attainment.

  • Highly motivated and driven to succeed in sales.
