Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.

The Service Engineering Specialist ensures that serviced products meet customer specifications and quality goals. This requires working closely with key stakeholders and providing technical support at our partners facilities.
 

Role Responsibilities:
 

  • Oversee product repair and assembly process by working closely with Service Partners to ensure they meet high quality standards
  • Troubleshoot process problems through root cause analysis and data driven approach
  • Review processes, systems and procedures on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to track product quality issues and execute any quality related tasks
  • Monitor station and operator level data to identify yield hitters and prepare an action plan to improve yield
  • Perform and or drive, data collection, design of experiments to better understand issues
  • Drive alignment in test methods and inspection criteria between ASPs
  • Ensure technical readiness of ASPs for NPI, new processes and programs
  • Drive efficiency and improve existing processes and capabilities
  • Identify and timely flag operational issues to management and stakeholders
  • Create and maintain SOP documentation
  • Coordinate communication between ASP, operations and engineering teams
  • Identify operational or product issues within reverse logistics and convey them to stakeholders and decision makers
  • Manage and communicate across multiple organizations within our company Engineering, Legal, Quality and Product


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering OR 3 years of experience in mobile phone repair operations
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in Reverse Logistics Manufacturing and Repair Operations for mobile phones
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Mechanical Design and/or Manufacturing Engineering for consumer hardware products
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with third party production quality and process management


 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with consumer electronics mobile phones reverse logistics and RMA processing
  • Hands on product-level experience
