Marketing Data Analyst

Operations is one of four services that make up one Accenture –the others are Strategy and Consulting, Interactive and Technology.

The Marketing Data Analyst is responsible for gathering business requirements, designing, and implementing reporting and analytics solutions for marketing and sales data.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Build Reports and Dashboards with Sales and Marketing Data based on requirements specified by the client
  • Gather requirements from cross functional stakeholders
  • Data collection to understand the landscape (pulling data from multiple databases)
  • Track and analyze online channel activation data for different channels
  • Create Sales paretos by channel (online vs store vs others) - analyze size, changes in volume of each of the sales channels of top distribution partners in retail and telecom
  • Help develop search intelligence by analyzing competitor data
  • Set up digital execution tracking to understand how much volume is coming on partner pages, how many are clicking to our page, etc.
  • Automate the manual data entry process, scraping efforts to automate data collection and ingestions
  • Set up web scraping to collect data using python
  • Provide inputs to the business in understanding the levers to drive sell-out performance
  • Provide inputs to the business to develop an analytical framework to assess the health performance or our business in digital sales channels of our distribution partners


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in Marketing Analytics or related areas
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience using SQL
  • Minimum of 6 months of experience using Python / JavaScript
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience with data visualization and ‘Report Dashboard’ development experience in Tableau, Data Studio, Power BI, etc.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced MS Excel – demonstrated proficiency in developing and deploying analytical solutions
  • Strong background in KPI Dashboards development and automation, and information systems management
  • Strong design skills in ‘Interaction User Reports’ like navigation, drills, sharing, etc.

  • Self-driven, ability to work in an unstructured environment with minimal supervision
