BPT Innovation Associate Manager

BPT Team (Business Performance and Transformation) is part of the GS Corporate Function and is the driving force behind performance, transformation, and innovation across all Corporate functions.
BPT delivers this through the expertise, agility, creativity and ability to deploy transformative solutions that are locally relevant, globally consistent and functionally aligned. BPT is organized into Centers of Expertise & Delivery (COE&Ds) across Argentina, China, Czech Republic, India, Ireland, North America and The Philippines. This role will be part of the Innovation COE&D in BPT Argentina.
About the Role:
The BPT Innovation Associate Manager will work with and support the BPT Innovation Manager in the execution in Argentina Location of the strategy defined by Innovation COE&D Global lead. Focus will be on supervising a team and leading initiatives to address needs from CF/Function leads in their processes requiring the implementation of Innovative/technical solutions leveraging different technologies (Phyton, C++, Java, JSon, .Net, MS Office, PowerApps, SQL, Adobe, Blockchain, Analytic tools, among others).
The BPT Innovation Team in Argentina is formed by 9 resources and the successful candidate will work closely with Innovation BPT lead and CF/Function leads.
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong leadership, stakeholder and people management capabilities.
- Exceptional knowledge of emerging tech trends and deep research skills.
- An understanding of end to end delivery process for technical solutions.
Key responsibilities:
- Understand COE&D priorities/definitions and support the implementation of the strategy for the location.
- Interact with CF and Function leads in the location to understand needs for Innovation support.
- Supervise the team in the delivery of innovative solutions to address the needs.
- Foster the research of new technologies within the team to implement new solutions.
Core Skills:
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, preferably in computer science, economics, business, finance, engineering or other related areas.
- Solid experience in end to end solutions implementation (Identify new opportunities, Requirement gathering solutions, Delivery (Development, Test, Deployment), etc.)
- Solid experience in research, information retrieval methods, insight generation and thought leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel; PowerPoint, Power BI, i.e., charting)
- Strong PowerPoint, Excel, Power BI, and Word skills; knowledge of visualization tools is a plus
- Experience with developing IT business cases, strategic assessments.
- Awareness in specific emerging technology areas.
