We’re looking for a talented Marketing Specialist to join our Marketing + Communications (M+C) team. At Accenture, M+C is responsible for global brand management and advertising; global events and sponsorships; internal communications; marketing research; media and industry analyst relations; corporate and financial communications; digital marketing; recruitment marketing; thought leadership content development, client-centric marketing; and industry, service line and geographic marketing campaigns. This role will involve working across our M+C community, but primarily working closely with our recent acquisition, Infinity Works.

Job Summary

We’re seeking a highly organised and strategic Marketing Specialist to work collaboratively with our acquisition Infinity Works and across Accenture teams. They should have a genuine interest in transformative technology and be comfortable managing multiple distinct marketing projects at once. 

The Specialist will report into the Marketing Manager for Infinity Works and work closely with key stakeholders across the Infinity Works business. Note that Infinity Works was acquired by Accenture in 2021, so a key part of this role will be to help integrate the business into Accenture to ensure a consistent message to the market and target audiences.

The Specialist will plan, create, and execute a number of integrated marketing initiatives designed to raise brand awareness, support customer acquisition, and assist with talent acquisition. The candidate will be experienced in marketing communications, strategy, analytics, and stakeholder management.

The successful candidate will have the experience and the confidence to take a detailed brief from stakeholders and translate it into compelling and engaging activities that resonate with the target audience. They will have excellent writing skills, including content development and social media, and experience organising events.

We’re looking for a proactive and flexible team player with excellent problem-solving skills, and a high level of comfort handling multiple projects at any one time. The candidate should be comfortable working at speed, with meticulous attention to detail. The role will include working with specialist marketing agencies, business stakeholders, and partner marketing teams.

Key Responsibilities/Position Details

  • Plan, create, and execute a schedule of high-quality integrated marketing campaigns and activities for defined target audiences.
  • Implement marketing campaigns designed to either raise brand awareness, generate new business, or support talent acquisition initiatives.
  • Support with content creation for and management of Infinity Works’ digital channels, including the website and social media accounts, as and when required.
  • Create a range of marketing assets and material, including articles, videos, promotional copy, and social media content. You may not write/design these yourself, but supervision of the agency/freelancer delivering the work will be required.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the business to create referenceable case studies and customer stories.
  • Support and work with colleagues to deliver external events – including partner, industry, and customer events –  and identify speaking opportunities at third-party events.
  • Track and measure the performance of marketing campaigns and activities, and use data where relevant to improve marketing effectiveness.
  • Work closely with colleagues across the Accenture M+C Community to deliver campaigns, ensure efficiency, and share learnings.
  • Work collaboratively with approved external agencies as required and delegate work to ensure work is produced to standard and to brief.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic partner marketing teams to maximise marketing opportunities and available funding.
  • Work closely with the Marketing Manager to report on marketing performance against goals, assist with strategic planning, and deputise as required.
  • Act as one of the business’ brand ambassadors to ensure continuity of branding and messaging across all marketing activities.


Knowledge and Skill Requirements

  • Good level of general marketing experience required.
  • Proven working experience delivering integrated marketing campaigns.
  • Results-driven with the ability to measure the performance of marketing activities.
  • Broad overall business acumen and strong interest/experience in tech.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and a desire to learn new skills and about new industries/customers.
  • Excellent communications skills: oral, written and visual.
  • Ability to manage and build relationships with people at all levels, including senior leadership, in a matrixed organisational environment.
  • Excellent organisational and planning skills, including budget management.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and prioritise workloads.
  • Service-oriented attitude and ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in a marketing related discipline is desired but not essential.
  • Work experience: Demonstrable experience working on B2B integrated marketing campaigns, either client-side or with an agency.
