Interactive Account Lead

Job Summary:

For this role, you will identify, build and nurture strong, lasting relationships with new and existing clients across our priority accounts and shape our go to market strategy for Accenture Interactive in Canada. You will be a go-to person for our clients who are excited to partner with us to deliver industry leading customer experiences.

Here’s a snapshot of your responsibilities: 

  • Originate, qualify, and close new opportunities for Accenture with our most important clients across the full range of our services, including revenue growth, digital strategy, marketing, intelligent human experiences, and commerce. 

  • Develop trusted client relationships with CMO’s, CDO’s, CSO’s, CCO’s and CXO’s by putting our clients and their strategic imperatives first, and by remaining focused on harnessing our capabilities to deliver outsized business results, and by measuring the value we deliver with and through our work.

  • Lead the Interactive book of business (managed financials) at their designated accounts and help to achieve the Interactive account plan.

  • Establish go to market strategies and industry specific offerings to build upon existing relationships and drive new business for Accenture Interactive.

  • Understand the client and account agenda and infuse Experience capabilities to drive growth and mutually beneficial outcomes.

  • Oversee business development activities throughout the sales cycle, through origination, pipeline tracking, proposal and bid management.

  • Architect and orchestrate all the required capabilities and assets to achieve the value promised in an opportunity and a construct the journey to accelerate to value-based outcomes.

  • Collaborate with our network of strategic alliance partners (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google, etc.) to identify joint business opportunities for our clients.

  • Partner with our Strategy and Consulting, Technology and Operations teams to bring the best of Accenture to our clients.

  • Continuously develop and hone Account Leadership and Sales skills.


Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in (or related) areas such as Marketing, General Management, Strategy, Digital Strategy.

  • Minimum of 8 years of sales, account management & business development experience with Fortune 500 clients.

  • Minimum of 8 years’ experience in at least one of the following customer experience and marketing spaces; experience design, digital transformation, product development (agile), digital marketing, marketing technology and brand marketing.

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a management consulting firm with Fortune 500 clients.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Superior interpersonal and customer relationship skills and proven ability to work independently and as a team member in a fast-paced work environment.

  • Expert in the ability to direct work collaboratively in a goal-oriented consulting engagement.

  • High energy level, sense of urgency, decisiveness and ability to work well under pressure.

  • Passion and strong understanding for the Financial Services industry as well as customer experience and digital trends transforming the space.

  • Understand broader CMO agenda and how digital fits within the overall marketing scope. 

  • Experience with defining high-level enterprise digital architectures, digital marketing practices application of Marketing Clouds (Adobe, Salesforce, Google, etc.) to marketing transformations.

  • Strong understanding of marketing planning, process, execution, insourcing, and delivery.

  • Business acumen running a digital agency, including talent management, staffing, financials, growth targets, and client development.

  • Demonstrate strong oral, written, and presentation skills to business and technical audiences, including expertise in consulting documentation (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel) to create effective story-telling.

  • Experience leading teams of people through complex sales cycles.

  • Client relationship skills and strong business development acumen; ability and experience to lead RFP responses.

  • MBA degree in (or related) areas such as Marketing, Finance, General Management, Strategy, Digital Strategy, etc.
