The Role:

The Ecommerce Business Analyst is a key client facing role that covers the full Product lifestyle from discovery to launch. You will contribute throughout the end-to-end Product lifecycle of complex and large-scale technology solutions and help define the delivery plan by working with all involved parties to document the dependencies, assumptions, and milestones.

You will provide strategic analytics-driven digital strategy consulting to clients to help them create the most innovative customer experience and improve digital marketing or ecommerce effectiveness.

The Work:

  • Work with the client to create comprehensive user stories and acceptance criteria for both functional and non-functional requirements

  • Lead workshops for the client to define functional and non-functional requirements

  • Execute gap analysis against proposed eCommerce (Hybris, Demandware, WebSphere Commerce, ATG) or Content (Adobe, Drupal) platforms

  • Support development teams by providing clarifications to requirements and design

  • Provide training to the client team

  • Implement process and change interventions

  • Implement programs/interventions that prepare the organization for implementation of new business processes

  • Execute a program, plan or deliverable using planning, communication and training skills

  • Design process and change interventions

  • Understand and translate customer needs into implementable business solutions to enable long-term success and business integration

  • Understand analysis of the as-is and to-be processes

  • Design new business processes based on customer requirements and conduct user review sessions and run stakeholder agreement meetings

Here’s What You Need:

  • 5+ years’ experience and background in eCommerce and Content delivery projects

  • Previous experience as a Lead Business Analyst on major E-Commerce and Content projects

  • End to end experience of the Product lifecycle with experience of testing the developed solution to ensure it meets requirements and expectations

  • Proven experience with Hybris 6.0 and/or Salesforce Commerce and/or Magento and/or Elasticpath

  • Significant experience in creating requirements specifications process models for eCommerce projects

  • Deep understanding of a Retail industry domain

  • Proven capability of interfacing with clients, managing their requirements and expectations
