Position Summary
Banking industry is increasingly leveraging the cloud capabilities to develop innovation-led cloud first offerings by streamlining organization, systems, and workforce. Cloud is influencing key business and technology trends, which would help banks operate now and be future ready. Banks are now moving towards cloud first mindset to think beyond just, lower infrastructure costs or support for improved business processes to enablement of business value led emerging Cloud use cases that solve for unique challenges for enhanced bank’s shareholder value.
Our Accenture Strategy & Consulting - Capability Network - Banking Industry practice is seeking an experienced and accomplished management professional with sound understanding of multi-pronged cloud strategies specifically for banking industry covering important aspects of the banking platform knowledge, architecture assessment, data security considerations, organizational impact analysis and business case of adopting cloud technologies.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage and drive cloud engagements for banking industry by owning and delivering tangible outcomes for different clients and other stakeholders across the globe.
• As-is assessment of clients’ technology landscapes to identify a range of cloud uses cases and selecting the preferred public cloud platform for each use case.
• Work collaboratively with technology practitioners, cross-functional teams to design and implement comprehensive strategy and operating models that enable Cloud solutions and Infrastructure transformations for banking industry.
• Recommend application cloud migration for Core banking, Payments, CRM and other products based on functional, technology and business requirements.
• Provide detailed implementation plans to deliver multi-stream cloud transformation programs and initiatives, based on the comprehensive strategy and operating models for cloud.
• Define cloud adoption strategies for large scale enterprise data and analytics solutions and cloud use cases identified for client.
• Evaluate organization change impact and implement governance and restructure people, process, and technology to manage transition of applications to cloud.
• Review and optimize cloud-based usage and spending post initial cloud deployments for the client on an ongoing basis.
• Build working relationships with senior business and technology leaders within Accenture as well, to drive pipeline for mid to large banking clients across globe.
Preferred Experience
• 7+ years of relevant consulting or industry experience, with proven ability to build relationships with senior business and technology leaders in cloud engagements for banking industry.
• 5+ years of experience in designing strategy and implementing cloud solutions (PaaS/SaaS or Big Data or Analytics) for mid and large size banks.
• 5+ years of experience in working with cloud solutions for Core banking, Payment, CRM and any support function applications for mid and large size banks.
• Exposure to actual implementation for private/public clouds on AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or VMWare would be an added advantage.
• Experience in developing business case and TCO analysis to realize traceability between cloud strategy and business-valued financial-success metrics.
• Experience in quantifying the business value of cloud and evaluating the organizational impact of cloud adoption.
• Ability to work with a multi-location team spread across global region specifically U.S.
• MBA preferred.
