Global Services Legal Technology

LOCATIONS:
  • Assist Accenture’s Global Services (GS) - Technology team - with multiple initiatives and projects within the scope of the following areas:

Sales/Markets Technology Consulting (Platform) Intelligent Global Services Intelligent Platform Services Intelligent Cloud Engineering Blockchain Technology Innovation

  • Technology Counsel support includes: (a) Providing SME deal support to CM and contracting legal professionals; (b) collaborating with onshore Technology SMEs on the legal clearance process of multiple offerings/assets (primarily Products & Platforms and Blockchian), (c) providing advice to the business and software development teams, (d) helping create, manage and update contract templates and trainings, (e) reviewing vendor/client software license, SaaS agreements, NDAs, T&Cs, and other agreements, (f) providing legal advice on Hackathon events, (g) conducting contract readiness assessments on new technologies, (h) assisting with contract benchmarking, (i) reviewing marketing materials, (j) performing Open Source software legal reviews, and (l) conducting legal research.   
  • Interest in developing subject matter expertise as a GS Technology Counsel (including Blockchian), becoming part of a friendly and global team, and learning about new technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, Cloud, etc. Basic/intermediate understanding of software development, Open Source Software, Blockchain and Cloud is highly appreciated.
  • Strong commitment to deliver the work product in time collaborating efficiently with colleagues and supervisors, GS Technology SMEs, stakeholders, leadership, other GS towers and Accenture Legal teams.
  • Good research, time-management, prioritization, organizational, and analytical skills;
  • Execute and own tasks from end-to-end with autonomy and good judgement and provide QA to team members at lower Levels/New Joiners as required.
  • Perform research of software offering/product related information, laws and regulations or technical aspects applicable to assigned requests.
  • Ability to suggest process improvements, help develop tools and proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Word.


Must have:

  • Lawyer with technology and contracting oriented experience. Master degree on IP/tech or business matters is a plus.
  • 4/6+ years of working experience and proficient/native English skills.
