Your job

As a Cloud Architect inside the Accenture Cloud First Infrastructure Engineering Practice, you will provide guidance, design and implement solutions for the cloud and digital transformation of our client’s infrastructure and applications. Join our team and be among Accenture’s most talented Cloud practitioners. The group is responsible for Accenture’s most complex Cloud transformation programs and work together with the experts of the Cloud services providers e.g. Google, AWS, Microsoft, Oracle, Red hat. Choosing Accenture and the Cloud First Infrastructure Engineering Practice will take your Cloud experience and skills to the next level and allow you to work in an innovative and collaborative environment. You will be able to experiment and implement solutions at client and/or within Accenture

• Help clients in migrating their workloads to Cloud and Business Agile/DevXOps transformations.
• Turn their strategy into reality for the next generation of cloud-based applications
• You will apply your expertise to design scalable and fault tolerant solutions
• Developing solution architecture, implementation plans and estimates
• Automating Cloud solution implementations using latest DevXOps CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Envisioning of Cloud detailed designs : Landing Zones, Framework for Application services, Security services and Tooling etc.
• Perform strategy assessments of current infrastructure and applications landscape to develop a technical Cloud adoption roadmap based on leading industry practices.

Your team
Our colleagues in the services-based Technology group help clients, both big and small, by revolutionizing their strategic blueprints for IT transformations. Which cloud platform fits best with client X? How do certain IT-solutions impact the risk analysis of suppliers? How can organizations become more agile and through what process are new applications developed from design thinking workshops?

Working closely alongside clients and an international team of professionals, you will develop innovative solutions based on their roadmaps, through mediums such as robotics and artificial intelligence. Throughout the blueprint process you will engage in the development of defense strategies, combining technology and user behavior, to ensure the security of your client. Together we connect the needs of clients with upcoming innovative technologies to prepare them for the future

Your background

• Technical Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Minimum of 5 years of deployment/architecture experience with Cloud hyperscalers e.g. Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure.
• Experience with Containers and/or Serverless
• Experience with Microservices, Functions, Event-driven/reactive programming or other Cloud Native architectures
• Experience with Agile/DevOps and SR Engineering practices
• Candidate must have at least one Cloud Certification (Associate Cloud Engineer, Professional Cloud Architect) or any comparable certifications.
• Hands-on Cloud migration and transformation experience with implementation and troubleshooting
• Hands-on experience with at least Linux Python or Infra as code automation languages like Terraform, Ansible & Puppet
• Proven experience of DevOps technologies around Continuous Integration & Delivery
• Network connectivity, Load Balancing, Cloud Interconnect and VPN
• Cloud Cost Management and Optimization
• Team player with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand and resolve complex problems;
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
