For all the positions their main responsibilities will be selling (around an average 60-70% of their time as a group) and executing projects (consulting practitioner).

Higher positions (Sr.Mgr) must be able to understand business needs and explain and present ho cloud technology and processes will solve these needs, and less experienced (consultants) should have a higher technological knowledge to support Sr.Mgr and Mgr.

Consulting and Cloud knowledge are a must regarding their knowledge and experience. It is important that all the minimum qualifications shown in point below will be covered by candidates.

Cloud Advisor Role Description

Cloud Advisors enable customers to achieve their most challenging business and organizational goals through well-managed cloud strategy. They envision highly scalable, reliable and resilient cloud architectures that provide solutions to customer business problems and accelerate the adoption of cloud services.

As a trusted customer advocate, Cloud Advisors help organisations understand, plan and implement best practices around advanced cloud-based scenarios, and support migrations of enterprise applications workloads to the cloud.

They help the customer over technical and business hurdles of cloud adoption by using modern management approaches, and enabling diverse global teams to achieve fully operational cloud computing capabilities.

This role covers a broad range of relevant technologies including, networking, security, storage, database, enterprise applications, operating model, ITSM life cycle, and requires strong business leadership and process skills including project management, cost analysis, change and risk management.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about:

Cloud and IT Architecture, IT Design and IT Environment (Requirements gathering and analysis, Conceptual cloud architecture, Building blocks, Workload types, Migration patterns and tools).

Cloud Operations and optimization (IT Operational best practices, Modern IT operating models).

Business and Technology Strategy (Valuation, Benefits analysis, Prioritization, Business strategy, IT strategy, Industry analysis, Strategy frameworks).

Cloud Security (Security Controls & Frameworks, Regulations and Compliance).

Candidates should have demonstrated experience in the following areas:

Assessing current maturity state of IT and defining journey towards modern and efficient cloud solutions.

Defining or implementing cloud technologies and architectures.

Driving IT strategy, value realization, cost/benefit modelling and business case creation.

Defining IT operating models for cloud, operational processes, ITSM lifecycle implications, and IT governance.

Ability to work with C-Suite and executive level, driving discussion and obtaining buy-in and commitment (depending on level).

Leading or actively participating in sales cycles for IT consulting engagements.

Managing complex projects through various project management methodologies.

Minimum qualifications

A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or Related Field.

10+ years of implementation/consulting experience on large-scale, enterprise-wide IT endeavours Demonstrated technical depth in one or more market leading public cloud solutions (MS Azure, Amazon Web Services) or private cloud (OpenStack mainly). Highly desired knowledge of PaaS frameworks (OpenShift, CloudFoundry).

Solid technical background in multiple disciplines: Networking, Security, Storage, Compute, OS, DatabaseAutomation & Orchestration.

Experience developing Cloud business cases and roadmaps.

Experience developing IT Strategy in complex environments.

Experience on IT transformation and cloud migration.

History of successful technical sales for consulting and architecture engagements.

Ability to estimate and manage own and others work load Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with technical, architectural and executive audiences.

Proven strong written communication skillsFull working fluency in Spanish and English.

Strong interpersonal and team working abilities.

Strong self-learning ability.

Highly desirable qualification

Masters/MBA degree preferred

Preferred basic certifications: AWS CSA, , MCSD ASA, RHCE, ITIL, PMP, VCP, VCDX
