Description
 
Infrastructure and Security Services within Accenture’s Operations business division provides consulting and outsourcing services across Cloud, Data Centres, Security, End User Compute, Networks and Service Management to the world’s leading organisations. To support this fast and growing market, Accenture is seeking to recruit Infrastructure Technology Managers within the Network domain to plan, design, build and implement Network solutions for clients in the UK, Europe and around the globe.
 
As a consultant you will support business case definition and shaping the transformation roadmap. You will work as part of a team to take the transformation roadmaps and define programme delivery plans and then deliver the transformational change for our clients. You could also  lead delivery teams, bringing together our portfolio of businesses to bring the best of Accenture to our clients.
 
We expect our consultants to be always relevant, bringing our clients expertise and experience in infrastructure technology and solutions. Our consultants must combine industry and technology relevance with strong delivery experience and stakeholder management as well as capabilities specific to the industry they are working in.
 
A typical Accenture Networks project will take the client through the full project lifecycle as a trusted partner. Starting with the definition of an initial concept, defining a business case and obtaining approval, followed by the functional design, high level and detailed design steps. Culminating with the build, integration and test, acceptance phases which will enable a successful deployment with the clients organisation.

  • Input into end to end delivery lifecycle of network and telephony solutions
  • Providing subject matter expertise when collaborating on cross platform projects with teams responsible for Network, Desktop and Data Centre


Desired Experience & Qualifications:
  • Demonstrable written and oral skills
  • Presentation skills and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts appropriately to audiences of varying technical background
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.  
  • Hands-on delivery experience in large, complex change programmes.
  • Experience in responding to client requirements, shaping innovative technology enabled solutions, responding to RFPs and presenting technology solutions to clients.
  • Trained in Infrastructure Technologies and Concepts.
  • PMI or Prince 2 Certification
Professional Skill Requirements (Manager & Above)
  • Proven success in leading large teams
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
  • Ability to demonstrate analytical and creative thought in high profile work with tight timescales
  • Proven success in project delivery within industry of speciality
  • Excellent leadership, communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills and ability to relate to non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated career progression to date.
All candidates must be willing to be based in London, Manchester, Newcastle or Edinburgh, but offer full mobility (i.e. prepared to work away from home Monday to Friday as required).
