Linux/Unix Desktop Management

Responsibilities:
• Linux Server Administrator’s job scope is to provide 24 by 7 system administration & support to GEA’s Linux servers.
• System administration & support includes provisioning, managing, monitoring the Linux infrastructure in both public and private cloud environment.
• Linux administrator is also expected to have the ability and skills to collaborate with other teams in service fulfillment, resolving and troubleshooting Linux issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering or other related courses
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years related experience in Linux System Administration
- Have proven skills in handling Linux server issues
- Knowledge of Virtualization and Cloud Technologies like Microsoft Azure and VMware is a plus
- Hands-On with High Availability systems is a plus
- Good understanding about LDAP
