Visit us at www.accenture.com. The Cloud Database Migration Specialist is a technical expert in the process of migrating high volumes of data across cloud services for high-availability systems (HA). Through the use of proper security, scripting and development techniques, the specialist is capable of creating and maintaining proper disaster recovery protocols to keep the data integrity and system's functionality, as well as performing data extraction, transformation and loading routines required for migration.
Basic Qualifications- Experience in or more DB systems and related toolset (high availability, data disaster recovery and migration/transformation). - Oracle DB: Data Guard, Golden Gate- DB2: HADR- SQL Server: Mirroring, Availability groups- Experience migrating mission-critical databases across platforms- Experience working with high availability and data disaster recovery strategies, including configuration and server adjustment (parameters, resources, etc).- Knowledge in Bash, Powershell, Perl and/or Python scripting.- Basic understanding of AWS concepts (computing, storage, network, and security). Includes EC2, EBS, EFS, S3, VPC and network security, NACL and Elastic Load Balancers.Preferred Qualifications- Practical experience with DB services from AWS, such as AWS Databa Migration Services (AWS DMS), AWS Conversion Schema Tool and others that may be used in the context of a database migration.- Experience with multi-platform mission-critical databases.- Experience in data modeling and data ingestion flows (ETL), as well as the ability to write and update SQL queries in the context of data extraction/transformation.- Experience writing stored procedures- PL/SQL, T SQL, PL/pgSQL,- Knowledge of TCP/IP networks.- AWS associate or professional certifications obtained/renewed in the last 9 months- Solid history of AWS implementations in a variety of distributed systems
