  • Key Responsibilities : 1Coordinate with Oracle Platinum Support services for periodic maintenance and support, whenever required 2 Exadata appliance Monitor and manage Exadata appliance hardware components as per database requirements 3 Configure and maintain storage cells of Exadata in order to maintain high availability/redundancies at storage layer 4 Configure and maintain Exadata database high availability, disaster recovery database layer and failover capabilities
    
  • Technical Experience : 1 Review system performance, CPU, memory, storage capacity and I/O on all Exadata servers for unusual trends and report 2 Review Exadata performance in general, periodic health checks operational improvements 3 Execute proactive and reactive Exadata database maintenance and housekeeping activities - eg, log / trace file, purge memory usage, database parameter configuration, database resources, I/O distribution
    
  • Professional Attributes : 1 Take part in 24x7 Shift Rotations including Morning, Evening and Night Shifts 2 Work out of hours evenings, nights, weekends, bank holidays at reasonable request to perform production changes 3 Travel to other locations when required 4 Able to work from home occasionally
