• Key Responsibilities : -Detailed knowledge about DB2 V105 new features -Experience with database design, administration and maintenance in distributed environments -Strong DB2 Database Administration experience to diagnose DB without help of third party tools -Strong experience with Database and SQL Performance tuning as per application requirement Mandatory -In depth knowledge of HACMP/HADR backup/restore, cloning -Experience with MQ SERIES and Q-Replication refreshes for various scenarios
  
• Technical Experience : -Experience in DB2 DBA with strong data analysis and SQL writing and tuning experience on Linux/Windows/Unix platform -Demonstrated expertise in interpreting DB2 Administration and diagnostic logs and enable DB2 health, performance, and configuration monitoring -Hands-on knowledge in performance management and application tuning using DB2 performance tools, EXPLAIN PLAN, translating logical data model into physical data model
  
• Professional Attributes : - Good verbal and written communication skills to connect with customers at varying levels of the organization - Ability to operate independently and make decisions with little direct supervision - Flexible to work in 24/7 shift
  
• Educational Qualification : 1 Bachelors degree 2 ITIL V3/V4 Foundation certified 3 DB2 Certified
