  • Key Responsibilities : 1:Perform the day to day Backup administration tasks such as day to day backup, troubleshooting backup failures, retiring backups, restores , data movement 2:Resolve Backup and storage environment related tickets by working on operations and vendors; escalate to engineering L3team of any standards related issues Report on storage and backup usage to management and work to maintain buffer capacityby procuring additional storage 3:Build a capacity management and usage trend reporting capability
    
  • Technical Experience : 1:Candidate should have at least 5 years of experience on EMC Avamar, DataDomain and Veeam Backup Good hands on experience on EMC Storage 2:Hardware Rewuirements: iDPA,Data Domain,HP Blades,Unity,VNX,NetApp 3:Software requirement: Avamar Administrator,Data Protection Advisor,vCenter,Veeam 4: Work with architects to tune Backup infrastructure to maximize performance and reliability 5:Automate Backup related tasks to improve workflow and team efficiency
