JOB DESCRIPTION – Technical Director

Accenture Productions is looking for a talented Technical Director to join our team. The most successful candidate will have knowledge of television production control room equipment such as video switchers, routers, multi-viewers, audio controls, graphics and prompters. If you are an individual that can handle leading complex live video broadcast, organize multi-site conference meetings, and can think quick on your feet, this is the role for you.

YOUR ROLE: Technical Directors primarily produce events from Accenture’s Broadcast Control Center in Prague. The events are sourced from various video sources (video conference units, MS Teams, ...)  and production studios throughout Accenture’s global environment.


The opportunity to make an impact will be immediate and will change day-to-day.  Here is a sampling of your responsibilities:

  • Produce events sourced from remote video conference units and production studios

  • Work with event requestors from pre-event planning through the live broadcast

  • Work independently with no supervision

  • Bring new ideas for broadcast production to the table 

  • Turn client’s abstract ideas into create tangible solutions

  • Demonstrate sound video production acumen

  • Own projects from concept to delivery

  • Clearly and confidently communication with senior executives

  • Maintain quality work under tight deadlines and high-pressure situations

YOUR EXPERIENCE: Basic Qualifications

  • At least 2 years of experience in live broadcasting or video production

  • Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Media, Communications, Video production or related field

SET YOURSELF APART: Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency with the following equipment:

  • Video router and multi-viewer, particularly knowledge of Evertz products

  • Broadcast production switchers, particularly knowledge of Ross Video switchers

  • Media servers

  • Graphic creation

  • Audio mixer and router

  • Telephone bridges

  • Digital media encoders

  • Video conference units

  • Windows-based PCs

  • Familiarity with digital video transport and streaming formats, such as SDI, MPEG, H.264, Flash Video
