AFS is looking for hands-on solution builders to help solution, develop, integrate, deploy, and manage IoT, edge, and/or 5G solutions within the Federal Government, focusing on enabling applications and use cases that drive and accelerate mission objectives.  Yo will work across both Accenture Federal and commercial Industry X.0 teams and with ecosystem partners to integrate applications, distributed data, emerging technologies such as extended reality (XR), artificial intelligence and machine learning (AI/ML), computer vision, IoT devices, wireless networking, edge compute, and cloud to deliver mission enhancing solutions for our Federal Government clients.


You’ll need to bring hands-on experience with one of the following:

  • Understanding of the integration of the Internet of Things
  • 2 years of carrier or enterprise networking experience, with a preference on cellular wireless networking
  • 2 years of cloud architecture and cloud operations
  • 2 years of cloud platform as a service (PaaS) or cloud middleware services

Bonus points if you:

  • Worked with edge computing such as Dell VEP, HPE Edgeline, Azure Stack/Hub, and AWS Snowball
  • Deployed services on or having working knowledge of 4G/LTE, 5G, WiFi 6 (802.11ax), or software defined wide-area networks
  • Have provisioned or managed cloud services, network functions, or devices/machines
  • Worked with or managed distributed databases
  • Deployed containers using Kubernetes
  • Developed and integrated applications using cloud-native services
  • Developed applications and services through agile or the Cloud native development and integration
  • Have experience in deploying services through agile, DevOps, or the site reliability engineering models
  • Tinker with and build embedded devices (Raspberry Pi, Arduino) or cloud networks in your spare time
