• Project Role Description :Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests.

  • Key Responsibilities : A: Understanding of various license options B: Identify, develop and configure backups, snapshots, consistency groups and data retention policies C:Develop, test and document Disaster Recovery and Failover of services D:Manage and migrate Nutanix Volumes and have knowledge of Volume Groups, iSCSI initiators, discovery and CHAP implementations E:Perform health assessments, perform diagnostics and make recommendations F:Understanding in deduplication, compression, encryption methods
    
  • Technical Experience : A:Administering and engineering Nutanix Hyperconverged Infrastructure environments B:Develop and conduct test plans, authorized service interruptions ASIs, project plans and standard operations procedures D:Configure cluster management using best practices This includes HA, VM Overrides, Affinity Rules and failover E:Identify missing/correct components and provide appropriate sizing and licensing recommendations F:Validate and deploy clusters in a one-node, two-node, storage only or RF2/RF3
