• Project Role Description :Manage the cloud infrastructure environment through cross technology administration (OS, databases, virtual networks), execution of scripting and monitoring automations. Manage the environment incidents with a focus on service restoration. Act as operations support for all computer, network, storage, security, or automation incidents /requests.

  • Key Responsibilities : 1 Implementation and administration of Hadoop infrastructure 2 Installing operating system, Hadoop stacks, patches, version upgrades, setup new Hadoop users, setting up Kerberos principals and testing HDFS, Hive, Pig, Spark and MapReduce access for the new users 3 Cluster maintenance, creation and removal of nodes using tools Ganglia, Nagios, Ambari, Cloudera Manager Enterprise 4 Tuning Hadoop clusters, Hadoop MapReduce routines and Sparks jobs 5 Manage and review services log files
    
  • Technical Experience : 1 Knowledge on Hadoop cluster security implementation, Kerberos setup, AD integration, Transparent encryption 2 Knowledge on eco-system tools like kudu, oozie, impala, Hbase, zookeeper, Hue, pig, hive, SOLR, Spark/map reduce, yarn, sqoop 3 Knowledge on shell scripting and Linux is must
