AWS Data Engineer

Location: Warsaw/Cracow/Remote

Data&Applied Intelligence competence center in Accenture Technology covers data warehouse, big data, cloud and visualization areas. The Candidate will join the Accenture client’s team in the particular area. We are looking for data enthusiast (from mid to senior), willing to learn new tools and technologies.

WHAT WILL YOU DO:

• Delivery of IT solutions in cloud, hybrid and on-premises model for Enterprise customers – banks, telecoms, corporations;

• Participating in implementation and design of technical solutions in the fields of (among others): Cloud Architecture, Containerization, Automation, Cloud migrations, DevOps;

• Identifying the possibilities of optimization and transformation of client IT and Cloud architecture;

• Client organization onboarding to the AWS Cloud.

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM YOU?

 MUST HAVE:

• Knowledge of AWS (in areas of cloud computing, cloud security and data storage) ideally documented with certificates;

• Fundamental knowledge of Linux Operating Systems (RedHat, Debian, Suse);

• Fundamental knowledge of data structures, data analytics, big data.
   

NICE TO HAVE:

• Deeper knowledge about AWS services like: EC2, IAM & RBAC, S3, RDS, DataLake, Lambda,  Step Functions, RedShift, Glue and third party tools like SnowFlake, Apache AirFlow, Matillion, Apache Spark, Cassandra;

• Serverless frameworks like: Jupyter Notebooks, AWS SageMaker, Databricks;

• Microservices architecture;

• Fundamentals of working with Containers (Docker, AWS EKS, AWS ECS, Kubernetes);

• Experience developing simple scripts and applications with one of: Bash, Python, Scala, SQL, Kron, Ansible, Salt. Puppet, Chef, PowerShell;

• Upper intermediate English – is a must.
