Tech Strategy & Advisory Consulting – Senior Manager (Financial Services)

About the role:

As a Senior Manager in our Tech Advisory practice you will be able to sell, assess, define, implement and/or support world-class information technology in new technologies, for Accenture and our clients, spanning simple IT projects to large-scale, enterprise-level change programs.

You will be aligned to our Financial Services (FS) industry vertical leveraging our capability groups to articulate and define solutions on how clients can make maximum use of their existing legacy environments.

This role must be based in Sydney.

Responsibilities:

• Define and implement world-class IT architectures utilizing new technologies.
• Guide our FS clients through their journey to cloud, helping our clients deliver new business models and revenue streams through the adoption of emerging technology enabled by cloud platforms
• Depth and breadth across key technology platforms: AWS, Azure, Mulesoft, ServiceNow from a consulting perspective
• Establish Accenture as technology thought leaders in the marketplace
• Provide advice to the client’s C-suite on Technology solutions to help implement the client's required architecture.
• Conduct architecture assessments and define solutions to produce a detailed technical design document for implementation of new technologies, including Cloud, Blockchain, Artificial Intelligence, DevOps.
• Provide the technical advice, defining the right solution to meet the technical performance, scalability, flexibility, operations and capability needs.
• Define and design the engagement’s, platform’s and/or product’s required architecture (i.e., development, operations, execution, data, application, etc.)
• Support the technology solutioning and estimating in proposals, planning and pricing
• Drive new growth within existing accounts

Ideal Candidate:

• Demonstrated success in Financial Services with an in depth understanding of the industry
• At least 10 years of experience as a Technology Consultant/Advisory Practitioner
• Proven success leading transformational projects
• Experience with Cloud Strategy and Advisory
• Demonstrated experience driving growth and building a capability
• Excellent financial acumen with the ability to price and manage financial metrics of delivery
• Natural ability to build relationships internally and externally
• Strong communications and presentation skills
• Consultative approach, driving value led solutions for our existing and prospective clients
