Accenture Technology Strategy and Advisory (TS&A) solves complex business challenges at the intersection of business and technology.  We take a business led, value-based approach to identifying the right technology strategies for our clients, and shaping, mobilising and overseeing complex programmes of change to deliver business outcomes.  Accenture is market leading in what we do having been voted ‘Gold’ in the recent FT Consulting Awards for both IT Strategy and Digital Transformation.

TS&A is a critical and fast-growing component of our overall Strategy and Consulting (S&C) business.  Our management consultants work with Fortune 500 leadership teams to reimagine their businesses from growth and restructuring strategies through to end-to-end digital transformations, and we offer a complete range of industry and functional services.

In our team you will:

  • Understand industry dynamics and the impact of trends on an organisation to identify and formulate need for change in enterprise architecture

  • Understand the business strategy and help clients to define the link with technology

  • Assess the impact of the business strategy on the enterprise architecture, including organization, applications, data, infrastructure, and operations.

  • Apply the Architecture frameworks, patterns, and governance to direct the use technology to meet current and future demands in line with key stakeholders

  • Create Enterprise Architecture vision and strategy aligned with business objectives and develop an architecture roadmap from “as is” to “to-be”

  • Work between the business and technology client & 3rd-party stakeholders to effectivity formulate communicate and conclude key architectural decisions

  • Create modern enterprise architecture to evolve on-prem technology landscape by leveraging Cloud capabilities

  • Lead creation of Enterprise Architecture blueprints demonstrating the e2e technology landscape including applications, integrations, and data

  • Operate as EA Lead in Lean Enterprises by building relationships between design/development teams and business

  • Develop recommendations and translate them into actionable roadmaps for complex and large technology environments using Lean and Agile enterprise principles

  • Lay out the ground rules for future Enterprise Architects based on the client’s business strategy

  • Navigate through the Accenture global network, and leverage the expertise to develop relevant enterprise architecture insights

  • Function as guardian of the enterprise architecture to make sure that new initiatives comply with the set guidelines, without jeopardizing business objectives

  • Provide EA governance to clients throughout their transformation programme

  • Traverse between levels of technical detail across a breadth of technologies and capabilities to best understand “as-is” and appreciate the implications of “to-be” recommendations


We are looking for experience in the following skills:

  • Understand and having applied typical architecture patterns to renewing legacy technology landscape

  • Understand the difference between Enterprise / Platform / Solution architectures

  • Experience in sitting at the cross-roads between business & technology as an Enterprise Architect, leading the definition and conclusion of key architectural decisions which require resolving with both technology and business stakeholders

  • Experience in defining target architecture in line with modern engineering practices and emerging technologies (AI, Data, Robotics, etc.)

  • Experience in building functional business cartographies and interpreting the impact of business strategies on it

  • Up to speed with recent technology evolutions 

  • Ability to explain Enterprise architecture to IT and Non IT executives

  • Master degree in Computer Science or equivalent by experience; 

  • 5+ years of relevant experience with enterprise architecture in a client context; 

  • Great understanding (and a keen interest) in Enterprise technologies, vendors and disciplines

  • Experience in design in areas of emerging technologies (Cloud Native, Data, AI, Robotics, etc.) and in driving new points of view and capabilities;

  • Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment with a full proficiency of the English language
