The Solution and Delivery Architect role is responsible for design, and delivery of cloud solutions and architecture on Microsoft Platforms. The candidate will have the following responsibilities:
Provide leadership and guidance in the use of Microsoft Technologies in meeting strategic and business goals for Accenture clients.
Explaining complex technical concepts to an executive audience
Support and develop internal prototypes, assets, and accelerators
Manages large to small teams and has hands-on skills to support the team given the needs of the project
Participates and support sales activities
As the Solution and Delivery Architect role you will be responsible for creating and defining architectural visions; developing solution blueprints in support of client requirements; managing delivery of Microsoft based solutions and architecture. The candidate is expected to have technical competencies in a range of Microsoft Products and solutions.
You are the Technical Lead/Liaison between Microsoft, Avanade, and Accenture for Microsoft solutions
Drive training and awareness for Key Plays/Offerings
Develop Assets for Sales Support
Support key opportunities as Microsoft Solutions and Delivery Architect
Understanding of Infrastructure architecture and concepts, background with experience in virtualization technologies for Azure IaaS solutions.
Architect and design Azure Cloud Native solutions to meet functional, technical, security and compliance requirements.
Here’s what you need:
Minimum of 5 years' experience Microsoft solutions and delivery
Minimum of 5 years' experience delivering innovation applications with Microsoft Azure, Dynamics, O365
Minimum of 5 years' dedicated industry knowledge and experience. Relevant industry experience includes: Technology, Products, Resources, Health & Public Services and Financial Services
Minimum of 5 years' experience presenting to the executive level (ex. C-Suite)
Minimum of 5 years' experience as technical Subject Matter Expert supporting sales pursuits
Broad knowledge of systems infrastructure that power today’s modern and highly available web and mobile applications, with deep domain expertise in one or more areas: compute, networking, storage, high availability, cloud security, application performance.
Strong communication skills, presentation skills, ownership acumen and be able to deconstruct complex problems & projects into execution detail.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 8 years) work experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in working in a role of an Enterprise Architect or a Solution architect
Minimum 5 years of experience designing an architecture for a cloud native application.
Minimum 5 years of experience with Azure Cloud Platform, (platform components and assembling application and runtime architecture).
Specialized Microsoft Azure Certification
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Bonus Points if you have:
Experience with serverless frameworks and architectures.
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics suite of products
Experience with containerizing legacy applications in the public cloud; native or 3rd party container solutions (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Docker EE, Mesosphere)
Experience with event driven architectures and constituent technologies (e.g. Kafka, Kinesis) and patterns (Event Sourcing, etc.)
Cognitive Services including natural language processing, speech processing, and image processing
Analytics including HDInsight (Hadoop), Machine Learning, Power BI, Data Lake Store, Data Lake Analytics
Internet of Things including IoT Hub, Machine Learning, Stream Analytics, and Event Hubs
Third party OSS PaaS platforms such as RedHat OpenShift and Cloud Foundry
