Who We Are:

Accenture’s Intelligent & Digital Workplace practice, within our Cloud Infrastructure Engineering group, is focused on applying technology to enhance the productivity and experience of users in office spaces and produce data insights for those that manage them at large enterprise clients. Our team provides full lifecycle end user services from consulting on strategy to leading large technology implementations and ongoing support operations.

Accenture’s Intelligent & Digital Workplace Managers provide delivery management, project execution, and technical expertise to partner with our clients to plan, analyze, design, test, and deploy enterprise scale end-to-end workplace technology transformation solutions using new and emerging technologies.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams to design, build, and transform the experiences in enterprise workplaces though the application of technologies.

  • Manage teams and/or work efforts (if in an independent contributor role) at a client or within Accenture, specifically in Workplace Technology Design and Delivery.

  • Have technical expertise relevant to Digital Workplace solutions with a focus on smart building solutions

  • Deliver Intelligent Building and Workspace design leveraging system orchestration solutions, analytics, automation, digital twin, and IoT systems

  • Support development of Intelligent & Digital Workplace capabilities as a SME in the area of Digital Twin technologies, Intelligent Buildings, and Workspace Design and how they might integrate with other Digital Workplace capabilities including areas such as digital identity and security, remote and automated deployments, Workforce and Culture, and Change Management

  • Support and contribute to RFP and business case development, offering positioning, technical solutioning and awareness campaigns

  • Develop presentations which resonate with senior stakeholders

  • Perform project management activities

  • Stay educated on new and emerging market offerings that may be of interest to our clients.

  • Develop thought leadership materials, train and mentor junior team members

  • Support the efforts for constant cross-training and collaboration, as well as mentoring other "future SMEs"

  • Use considerable judgment to contribute to solutions and seek guidance on complex problems

Racking up those air miles will have to wait, as weekly non-essential travel to client sites is currently suspended.  For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate’s Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)   

  • Minimum of 6 years Project Management experience serving as a technology delivery lead for workplace transformation or construction programs

  • Minimum of 3 years workplace design, build, and construction experience.

  • Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in the following areas:

    • Internet of Things (IoT)

    • Meeting/Conference Room Technologies and Automation

    • Workplace Operations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Industry certification in Human-Centered Design or equivalent

  • Experience of delivering additional Digital Workplace offerings such as; collaboration and workplace modernization (e.g. Office 365, Google Workspace, Windows 10 and WVD), unified comms, Future Ways of Working, identity and security

  • Familiarity with current digital workplace trends, e.g. cloud journeys (productivity, collaboration, mobility, end user device), return to the workplace, productivity solutions and tools, or foundational workplace security

Professional Skills Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills (both written and oral).

  • Strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to be flexible and work analytically in a problem-solving environment.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Strong organizational & multi-tasking skills.

  • Strong analytical skills and thought processes.

  • Previous Consulting or client service delivery experience.

  • Personnel development experience (hiring, resource planning, performance feedback, etc.).

  • Financial forecasting, budgeting and tracking

  • Experience with Business Case creation
