The Role:

Clients need savvy experienced solution architects like you to articulate their problems and primary business drivers. You’ll create innovative, market-relevant solutions that meet the needs of your Interactive clients by applying the latest methods, you’ll ensure that the solutions created are compelling, viable and deliverable. In this role, you’ll be aligned with Accenture Interactive colleagues to drive revenues, increase efficiencies and reduce costs. All while enhancing a little thing called brand equity.

The Job:

The Enterprise Solution Architect, Senior Manager will work with client teams to select, design and implement eCommerce solutions based on packages such as SAP Commerce (hybris), Adobe Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud or Commercetools.

You will also be responsible for client solution strategy, defining the solution using leading or bleeding-edge concepts and technologies, which will provide a differentiated product in the marketplace, enabling competitive edge for our clients.

  • Formulate solution approaches incorporating a wide variety of Interactive domains including commerce, content management, Interactive asset management, marketing automation/platforms, mobility, modern web architectures and social media based on client scope and objectives.
  • Design and develop client strategies around eCommerce solutions Participate in eCommerce assessments at client sites, which includes as is to be designed sessions and documentation to enable solution development
  • Conduct detailed “Risk Assessments” for solutions in scope to determine the feasibility of successful implementation of the planned solution
  • Take on the role as a critical team member in both implementation projects as well as in business development and strategy engagements
  • Drive content and e-commerce solutioning, proposal creation and estimation work
  • Collaborate with technical resources to define architecture that supports eCommerce solution
  • Own the overall solution blueprint and roadmap for a client/opportunity  


Here’s what you need:

  • 8 years of experience in sales engineering, consulting or product management for organizations that deliver ecommerce solutions
  • At least 6+ years' work experience from working with content and e-commerce systems as a developer and 4+ years of experience as an architect (setting direction, managing teams, driving proposals and estimation)  
  • 4+ years’ experience working on one or more of the following platforms: SAP Commerce, Adobe Magento, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Commercetools and 1+ working across multiple eCommerce platforms
  • Experience and interest in designing and implementing with one or more major eComerce systems (SAP hybris, Oracle ATG, IBM Websphere, Demandware, Intershop, Elastic Path, Epi Commerce)
  • Experience and interest in designing and implementing with one or more major content systems (Adobe Experience Manager, Sitecore, IBM Content, Liferay)
  • Experience with large-scale custom eCommerce implementations
  • Platform and Architecture technical skills and knowledge of emerging technologies/platforms
  • Knowledge about other digital marketing technologies such as content management, campaign management, social media, search, web analytics and behavioral targeting  
  • Strong analytical skills - can find, understand and analyse things that are not obvious or hide behind the surface.

  • Industry skills in at least one industry
  • Experience working in a similar solutioning capacity
  • Experience with technologies and processes for mobile and social media technologies, solutions, and strategies
  • Previous experience with a large professional service organization
  • Previous experience in software selection, vendor management, and workforce management implementations
