As a Network Architect, you will: 

  • Support the sales team by providing deep technical expertise of Cisco solutions and products to drive technology fulfilment opportunities

  • Assess and resolve client technology problems by proposing solutions that leverage Cisco partner and Accenture offerings

  • Develop technical architectures, blueprints, and product configurations for the client as part of the sales cycle

  • Develop specific architecture and capabilities with the latest Cisco solutions

  • Apply technology expertise across industry to advise, change, transform and deliver outcomes that enable our clients to become high performing businesses

  • Join the delivery of cloud and network architecture consulting across the business and technology intersect and supporting our clients’ transformation journey working closely with other cloud capability groups within Accenture

  • Focus on leadership, helping to grow, develop and support team members

  • Establish yourself as a technical authority within cloud and networks acting as an advisor to our clients helping them unlock their potential by addressing key areas of consideration such as Risk & Compliance, Cloud Operating Model, Application Transformation Strategy, Cloud Security, Business Case, etc.


We are looking for experience in the following skills: 

  • Technology product expertise and credibility with clients and experience of developing technical solutions and offerings.  Ability to explore and understand alternative products strengths & capabilities, and qualify how these fit into an overall architecture to meet the client’s requirements

  • Knowledge of the client's technology environment, requirements, and buying values; and the ability to effectively represent Cisco partner's offerings, solutions, and products to clients

  • Ability to understand client requirements and work to define Cisco’s product aspect of a solution blueprint, and test alignment of the blueprint with client buyer values

  • A comprehensive understanding of end to end technology transformation with a journey to cloud focus covering key functional disciplines including network architecture, business case, application/cloud transformation, technology platforms and overarching cloud enablement.

  • Can own / drive network, cloud strategy and architecture planning; can position technology solutions in the context of industry architectures and digital / technology transformation.

  • Able to connect and align key business domains across an industry’s value chain with cloud/networks products and services.

  • Literate in technologies:

    • Network design and solution architecture experience

    • Cisco technologies such as ACI, Viptela, Meraki, App D, HyperFlex. SDA, DNAC and Thousand Eyes

    • SDN technologies such as Viptela, Velocloud, iWAN etc.

    • Wi-Fi design and deployment experience

    • Network Security design and deploy skills: Cisco, Palo Alto, Checkpoint

    • Private and Public Cloud including IaaS, PaaS, CaaS (Containers as a Service) and SaaS.

    • Network Automation and Orchestration: Ansible, TerraForm, Puppet and Chef

  • C-Suite relevant; able to operate across business and technology / CIO / CTO leadership.

  • Understanding the value proposition of Networks within the digital business as well as Cloud with the desire and commitment to become a visionary leader

  • Comfortable working with both waterfall and agile methodologies and exposure across the full delivery lifecycle

  • Broad range of skills, including business insight, interpersonal, analytical and team working skills
