This individual will be part of a team of advisory professionals focused on cloud-based data-reporting operations that integrate and optimize the essential corporate functions of finance, analytics, planning and HR.

As a Workday Functional Manager your primary responsibilities may include:


- Oversee multiple functional work streams/domains on a Workday implementation project (e.g, function as the overall HCM Lead for the project) or function as the lead for the (Insert Specialization) work stream (function as the expert in HCM
- Manage on and off-shore functional teams 
- Lead HCM work stream driving towards decisions and recommending best practices related to Workday functionality including, but not limited to: compensation grades, grade ranges, compensation steps, compensation plans, eligibility rules, advanced compensation configuration and processing 
- Identify strategies, risks, and options, recommend approaches and mitigations to meet client/functional requirements 
- Lead, mentor, counsel and manage performance of project staff 
- Architect Workday HCM solution to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated 
- Advise clients on industry standards and leading practices. 
- Demonstrate design options using prototyping. 
- Understand and apply Workday and Accenture methodologies. 
- Provide the Project Manager with status updates and keep them apprised of overall project status. 
- Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives 
- Ensure the client takes advantage of Workday best practices. 
- Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods and assets  
For now, all Accenture business travel, international and domestic, is currently restricted to client-essential sales/delivery activity only.

Basic Qualifications:
- Existing and up to date Workday HCM Partner Certification
- 4+ years of consulting experience, most recently in a Lead role, or similar level role, preferably with a large consulting firm
- 3+ years of hands- on experience delivering HCM implementations in a leadership role
- Experience managing cross functional teams
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years work experience). If Associate’s Degree, must have equivalent minimum 6 year work experience.
Preferred Skills:
- 4+ years prior experience implementing Workday with a certified Workday implementer. 
- HR knowledge and HR Technology experience in Workday, SAP, Oracle or similar ERP technologies (preferably cloud based) 
- Demonstrated commitment and achievement to delivery excellence and client relationship management 
- Demonstrated understanding of the cross functional dependencies and impacts to conversions and integrations 
- Ability to handle multiple tasks concurrently and meet deadlines, despite conflicting demands.
