ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES: As a Cloud Engineer, you will:

• Work on multiple client-orientated cloud projects within an Agile or Waterfall development environment
• Help shape leading cloud solution designs and drive implementation approaches for successful delivery of cloud-based technologies (across IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) with our clients
• Build and maintain cloud solutions as per leading development and optimisation practices
• Support organisations in adopting cloud technologies and best practices for development of cloud-based solutions

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 

​​​​In our team we are seeking Cloud Engineers with:

• Experience in designing, delivering, or supporting cloud solutions in a client-facing environment.
• Hands-on design or engineering experience across a wide range of AWS services, such as Compute, Serverless, Storage, Network & Database Services
• Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies, such as CloudFormation, Terraform or Ansible
• Experience using container and orchestration technologies e.g. AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Docker etc.
• Understanding of DevSecOps culture, practices and tools e.g. Jenkins, Git, Atlassian Stack, GitLab
• Knowledge of Cloud Security – e.g., IAM, Firewalls, especially secrets management with AWS tools or external technologies such as Hashicorp Vault

Set yourself apart:

• Industry-relevant Cloud certifications
• Experience working on end-to-end solutions, from understanding business requirements, defining design patterns, to driving the end-state delivery
• Experience applying good development practices ensuring code quality, security, performance, resilience, recoverability, and operability (e.g. through Continuous Integration and Testing)
• Experience developing simple scripts and applications with one of: Bash, PowerShell & Python
