Liquid Studio IT Internship – Innovation projects: XR, Multi-Cloud and Living Office
LOCATIONS:
This internship, with as goal to develop a new, real world application from scratch to production, will put you in a team of graduate interns with professional guidance from our experts. The team will be multi-disciplinary, covering all aspects of Development like UX & Business analyst, Backend, Frontend & DevOps and will work in an agile manner.

Your job
You will work on your own scoped item related to one of the 3 innovation projects:
The XR Liquid Studio: by the use of 3D point cloud of our physical office in Utrecht, creating a collaborative workshop platform, enabled via VR and MR;
Multi-cloud DevOps in a box: The devops in a box is a representation of modern technologies a devops engineer will be working with. The demo is a model of a multi cloud environment allowing us to demonstrate the use cases and benefits of using these technologies.
Living Office: Liquid Studio Living Office project is focused on the an autonomous office experience for every employee. It is a combination of IoT and cloud engineering capabilities to enhance and support everyday (home) office life
Depending on your profile and interests we will discuss what area best fit your aspirations. This can be in any IT area of the project like a core module, the UI, or designing & building the CI/CD pipelines. You will be free to choose, in agreement with your team and counselors, any technology you see fit for the job. Think of choosing the language (Java, NodeJS, Kotlin, Angular, etc.), CI/CD tools, Libraries and testing frameworks.
As this is a new project, research opportunities are available and can be picked up as a research topic for your thesis.
Your Team
Our colleagues in the services-based Technology group help clients, both big and small, with revolutionary IT transformations. Which cloud platform fits best with client X? How do certain IT-solutions impact the risk analysis of suppliers? How can organizations become more agile and through what process are new applications developed from design thinking workshops?
Working closely alongside clients and an international team of professionals you will develop innovative solutions, through mediums such as robotics and artificial intelligence. Throughout the business process you will engage in the development of defense strategies, combining technology and user behavior, to ensure the security of your client. Together we connect the needs of clients with upcoming innovative technologies prepare them for the future.
Your background
Requirements:
- Graduate student of a Dutch IT (inc. game development) MBO, Bachelor or Master
- Both English and Dutch speakers are welcome
