Job Description
The key responsibilities for the Vendor Management Specialist are as follows:
Manage all aspects of vendor relationships, identify work to be transitioned and coordinate execute key projects and transitions across the organization
Review performance, conduct satisfaction surveys and make recommendations for service improvement and standardization
Set, cascade, maintain and review agreed upon SLA
Build strong relationships with vendors to drive high performance and ensure agreements are drafted and administered in line with contract management guidelines
Assist in defining sourcing and vendor management strategy
Help define governance model to work with CoE's and GU's to review progress, agree on plans and decisions, and resolve issues at the strategic, tactical, and operational level
Conduct regular review meetings with GU & CoE for vendor satisfaction and utilization, review and report service performance, and satisfaction results.
Review performance report, understand deviations and suggest action plans
Periodically review/update vendor utilization strategy based on performance and new requirements
Review demand forecast and design action plans with vendors. Identify opportunities to standardize and rationalize across vendors and reduce cost based on prior track record
Maintain consistent metrics across service providers responsible for SLA, OLA and KPI maintenance and improvements
Participate in operational planning with service providers – define the fiscal year targets, gather needs, estimate the increase of volumes, agree on the annual contract, maintenance SLAs etc.
Coordinate knowledge sharing sessions and initiatives across service providers
Coordinate and execute key projects and transitions
Manage and periodically review Service Catalogue: set, cascade, maintain and review SLAs in association with CoE, service providers and GUs
Identify areas to expand scope within existing centers, identify need for a new center and support deployment plan
Responsible for successfully transitioning work into the shared service centers on time and within budget.
Represent the HR organization, support and manage change through the transition
Responsible for issue resolution
Support efficient working of centers to deliver consistent services, better results, drive improvement and reduce cost
Where applicable, negotiate costs with the support of the procurement team
Basic Qualification:
Minimum of 2 years of vendor management experience
Preferred:
BS/BA degree
Previous health care experience
