ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

As a Cloud First Data Engineer, you will:

  • Work on client-orientated Data and Analytics solutions in a hybrid cloud environment leveraging Agile DevOps practices and tools
  • Build and maintain solutions as per leading development and optimisation practices relevant to the Life Sciences Industry
  • Support organisations in embracing cloud technologies and best practices for development of cloud-based solutions
  • Liaise with the Client’s Business Function as well as the Global teams in alignment with the Global Delivery Model


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE: 

In our team we are seeking Cloud First Data Engineer with:

  • 3+ years’ experience in designing, delivering, or supporting Data and Analytics solutions in a client-facing environment.
  • Hands-on design or engineering experience in Pharmaceutical R&D Data Management and Analytical tools (viz R, SAS, R&D Data sets)
  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code technologies, such as CloudFormation, Terraform.
  • Experience in container and orchestration technologies e.g. AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Docker etc.
  • Understanding of DevOps culture, practices and tools, e.g jenkins, Git, Atlassian Stack, GitLab

Set yourself apart:

  • Industry-relevant Cloud certifications
  • Experience working on end-to-end solutions, from understanding business requirements, defining design patterns, to driving the end-state delivery
  • Experience applying good development practices ensuring code quality, security, performance, resilience, recoverability, and operability (e.g. through Continuous Integration and Testing)
