Who are we looking for?
We’re searching for ambitious advertising sales representatives to join the sales team of a market-leading digital & social media platform - as we continue to build partnerships with leading Australian brands.
Working closely with our National Sales Manager you will work proactively with new and advertisers on our global platform – developing campaigns and advertising solutions across all platform offerings.
We are looking for a creative, enthusiastic, strategic communicator who builds strong client relationships with a passion for sales.
Your responsibilities
Carry out proactive outreach to direct advertisers and small agencies to secure advertising and sponsorship revenues from new clients, across our platform in order to meet and exceed sales targets.
Onboard and enable advertisers on our self-serve advertising portal
Work with advertisers to optimise their advertising performance, and increase spends
Regular contact with direct and agency clients to generate new leads, establish new relationships and maintain existing accounts.
Preparation and presentation of pitches, proposals, and reporting.
Development and implementation of the company’s sales strategies.
Your required skills
University degree or tertiary qualification
2+ years of sales and/or agency experience (preferably digital media) or account management experience.
A proven track record in sales target achievement or other KPI’s.
An understanding of the Australian digital media & advertising landscape is preferred.
Awareness of market trends in order to identify new opportunities and optimise our local advertiser offering
Must be proactive in identifying new opportunities and securing new clients.
Exceptional people skills, with experience in customer facing roles
Results-driven with the ability to handle a highly accountable role.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to operate under pressure and work to tight deadlines.
Must be able to thrive as a member of a team while also highly self-motivated and willing to take initiative.
